# The Inference Directory

> Independent directory of inference providers. It compares ownership, hosting, model inventory, list prices, payment rails, KYC posture, and published benchmark scores across dedicated directories.

The site is a dated snapshot, not a live feed. Prices and provider terms should be re-checked on the provider's own page before purchase.

## Directories

- Cybersec & Abliterated: live. Abliterated and uncensored providers serving security research, with inventory, prices, rails, KYC, cyber scores, and documented defense cases.
- Indian Inference: live. Indian-owned and India-hosted inference providers, covering token APIs and model builders. Foreign hyperscalers such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle are excluded by policy.
- European Inference: live. EU-owned and EU-hosted inference, with data residency, GDPR, and EU AI Act posture.

## Definitions

- **Abliterated**: an open-weight model whose refusal direction has been reduced by editing the weights. It is not a jailbreak prompt and does not imply added capability.
- **Uncensored**: a broader marketing label. It may mean a weight edit, a fine-tune, a merge, or a system-prompt wrapper; the exact method matters.
- **No KYC**: no passport or government ID step; sign up with an email or nothing and pay.
- **Gated**: work email, passkey, card, and policy acceptance before access.
- **Card check**: a card payment still passes the processor's identity and sanctions checks, even when the vendor asks for no ID.
- **Crypto traceability**: on-chain payments are traceable unless Monero. L402 is the only accountless rail.
- **Indian-owned**: the company is incorporated or headquartered in India.
- **India-hosted**: inference and data run in India, even if the owner is foreign.
